ABOUT US

MedAMPL is non-profit organization (NGO) established in the first half of 2019 by Universities' Professors, enthusiastic scholars, maritime/logistics/transport managers and engineers with global mission to:

  • advance scientific, technological, organization and application base of the maritime and port logistics;

  • developing processes of the maritime transport and logistics innovation and excellence, and

  • promote and application main values of maritime and port logistics, science and marine technology for better environment of local and regional community based on sustainability, humanity and environmental friendly.

 

The activities through which the MedAMPL realizes its mission are:

  • Promotion of the maritime and port logistics;

  • Application and development of maritime and port logistics in Montenegro, the Adriatic-Ionian region and the Mediterranean;

  • Supporting the development of science and profession with regards to maritime and port logistics;

  • Popularization of maritime and port logistics in Montenegro, the Adriatic-Ionian region and the Mediterranean;

  • Application and development of new technologies and systems of maritime and port logistics;

  • Development of the maritime and port logistics system and sub-systems;

  • Protection of Intellectual Property Rights;

  • Improving scientific, technological and professional international cooperation in the field of maritime and port logistics in the Adriatic-Ionian region and the Mediterranean;

  • Development and promotion of environmental protection through maritime and port logistics;

  • Development and promotion of the environment protection in Montenegro, the Adriatic-Ionian region and the Mediterranean through maritime and port logistics;

  • Promotion and implementation of the concept of sustainable development through maritime and port logistics in Montenegro, the Adriatic-Ionian region and the Mediterranean;

  • Publishing of books, scientific papers, technical reports and other materials in the field of maritime and port logistics;

  • Creation of the concept to professional and scientific research for young researchers, MSc and PhD students in the field of maritime and port logistics;

  • Promoting the value and importance of maritime and port logistics, and addressing the issues arising from their use,

  • Education and training in maritime and port logistics;

  • Realization of the national, bilateral, regional and international projects based on technological, innovative and scientific investigations in the field of maritime and port logistics;

  • Participation in the development of legal, technical and technological regulations in the field of maritime and port logistics;

  • Providing service on monitoring and evaluation of projects in the field of maritime and port logistics;

  • Scholarships for the members and support for maritime and port logistics development in Montenegro, the Adriatic-Ionian region and the Mediterranean;

  • Openness for cooperation with national, regional and international institutions, organizations and associations, especially with universities, professional associations, NGOs, companies and other organizations, public, commercial and nonprofit in Montenegro, the Adriatic-Ionian region and the Mediterranean;

  • Connecting the state, economic sector, NGOs, citizens, local and regional community  for better communication in the field of maritime and port logistics;

  • Contributing to progress of the state and society in the field of maritime and port logistics;

  • Affirmation and promotion of general social and universal civilization values ​​in the field of maritime and port logistics;

  • Promotion and development intermodal logistic systems in Montenegro, the Adriatic-Ionian region and the Mediterranean.
